Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST).
The unremitting expansion of the latest technologies and sustainable development in the power, communication, ICT, and renewable energy sector continues to increase the demand for electrical and electronic engineers. Thus, EEE graduates have excellent professional prospects and challenging career options both at home and abroad. Our dedicated and internationally recognized faculty members are committed to ensuring a top-notch education that prepares our students to successfully enter the job market or continue studies at the postgraduate level.
Our small class size and low student-teacher ratios underpin proper learning. We have up-to-date curricula that enable students to meet global challenges in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. A graduate in EEE could select his career options in any one of the following fields or domains: electrical power and energy, electronics, communication, and computer engineering. Engaging with the ideas and methods of analysis, design, and experimentation in a number of domains is made possible by laboratory activities, individual projects, and research. The department also provides a variety of programs that allow students to obtain real-time work experience from long-term internships from affiliated institutions such as TICI and industrial visits. Our laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and equipment for both under- and postgraduate students.
At present, we offer the following degrees:
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- M.Sc./M.Engg. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering started its journey in 2012. Each year 35 students are enrolled in this department through a very competitive central examination. The department is located in the Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose academic building (1st Floor).
